First, it was Steven Adler coming into Sober House with heroin and getting wasted.  Adler was ousted from the house, but Dr. Drew smoothed things over so Adler could return. Then Amber Smith goes out to a party and gets wasted. Mary Carey seems to be on the verge at any given moment to start drinking again.

Andy Dick joins the Sober House cast and has to bunk in with Seth, aka Shifty. Andy Dick and Seth are no strangers to each other. Everyone seems real geeked up that Andy Dick has joined Sober House. Andy conveys, Sober House is his last chance to make good. Dick has been in more Rehab programs than probably, any other celebrity, ever.

It’s now episode 5 of Sober House and 10 days into this saga. Amber Smith comes back to Sober House, the morning after her party. She is still wasted. Amber blacked out the night before, while at this party. She is an emotional wreck and seeks out Dr. Drew. Dr. Drew tells Amber to go back to the house and get some sleep.

Mary Carey’s boyfriend/manager David, gives her a lot of crap. David seems to have a hidden agenda to be in this Sober House show to instigate and be “the bad boy”. He puts Mary down, and tries to undermind Mary Carey’s self image. If Mary hangs onto this relationship, she will probably be relapsing soon.

Sober House is a show with a lot of drama. There are many hidden gems, if you can read between these lines. This Vh1 show can be a very sobering and uncomfortable one, for some viewers to watch that have addiction issues.

Jenn, the house mother at Sober House, tries to show Nikki, Rodney King and Mary that they can have some fun, without getting loaded. Jenn takes them surfing.

Mary Carey, her boyfriend David and Seth take off clubbing. David starts some crap, talking trash about Seth to friends. It all gets back to Seth and he sneaks out of the club.

Back at Sober House, Seth is a no-show and Jenn tries calling him, but Seth is not picking up. Seth starts sending strange videos from Seth’s myspace page for the house members to check out.

The cast is caught up in Seth’s drama and they want to go out and rescue him. Seth tells everyone that he is alright, but he’s clearly using again. Seth is leaving clues to where he can be found, but Jenn doesn’t want anyone trying to find him. The cast is very upset and Andy Dick is in tears over this turn of events.

Will Seth return in one piece to Sober House? Is Mary Carey going to break the spell that her manager David has over her? Is Jenn over her head trying to run this Sober House?
